soz! I made a typo error, how long was the bucket of water left after you had got it out of the tap? Also how hot was it? A 90% watter change is alot! If 90% of there water isn't right this is the reason...

They won't usually mate... the fry would be fine.

Wow thats really good, Ive bought all my fish from a pet shop. The fist time i went there to buy fish, I saw a dried up tetra on the wall behind one of the tanks. I said nothing. Amazingly when i returned 1 month later for my next lot of fish it was still there!!!!!! Hadn't anyone seen it? :o...

I didn't train my fish, but its odd, I sit down, open the lid of fish flakes and they all go shooting up to the top of the water, maybe its the yellow conatainer where the fish flakes are that they reconise or THE SMELL? :S I dunno!

Hey, Mine just looks fat... its perfecty healthy and has been looking like this for AGES... Can you see the eggs in the tetras body when their pregnant? I think shes just holding alot of eggs or shes just fat. Missy

Hey, yeh I do! umm well do you have a spare tank? You could grown them in there? It can be a pretty small one... but then need to be at the same temperature as your fish. They would also need some live plants and a rock. Missy

Hey, Just tell him to put a few in his tank, as snails like everything the same as fish, temperature of water ect... they will breed by themselves.... i have a snail problem at the moment... i just can't shake them off... they mate all the time! He should have baby snails in no time! Missy

Hey, well they swim quite slowly and quickly, depends on what is stressing them or irritating them and sometimes they go into a dark corner or sit around the bottom. They would also poo alot. Missy

Hey, Every week i would spend around 15 minutes taking out snails (I have a snail problem at the mo) and i would clean the glass. But every 3 or 4 weeks I do a 50% water change and clean out my filter. Missy

funny you say that, ibe got 2 traps in my tank right now... but i thought maybe their could be a perminant solution, something that eats them all.. :(

Hey, I just wanted to say you don't have to go to great lenghs to keep your fry alive, like feeding them fry food or separating them from the other fish. Mine were fed on normal adult flakes and they were born into the wide open tank. In the end I got 20 adult guppies! Thats more than enough...

Hey, They should be fine for 3 days. But in furture if you go away for a longer period of time say 1 week you can buy blocks of food which the fish will eat at slowly... If you go away for over 2 weeks without feedinf fish they can develop eating problems.. like we would. :/ Missy
