Seachem root tabs are by far the best.  I'd recommend these above anything else and will help your swords.

It's only theory.  I hoped someone on here had given it a go.   I prefer the look of the Tigers and I know they're nippier than gold barbs for example, I'd most likely be safe with those.

I had some dwarf neon rainbows in a cube for a while, definitely better and more natural displays from them in a longer tank, but see how they fare.
