    100% water changes

im sure there is also drawbacks to 100% changes. Probably stressful on the fish during transport or removal of water and getting used to new water? Risky with improperly aged tap water. Plants will help alittle but water change is still a must.

    water changes....

depends on tank size: if its small, like those stupid betta bowls or a 1/2 to 1 gallon home, just place him in a cup with his old water and clean the WHOLE tank by pouring out the water and swirling the rocks clean of crap. then redecorate. If you know youre going to be changing water soon...

    Hardiest tropical fish ??

actually i wouldnt recommend cichlids to amateurs at all. Almost all of them if not all, require warm water always. Some can be very easy, like convicts. And besides warm water, the other important thing is that they are very territorial so that can put alot of stress on the owner(esp with...

Can You Guys Give Me Tips For My Bettas Mating?

its fun to breed fishes and esp those with interesting rituals and stuff, like the bubble nest, but theres a lot of responsibility in it and maybe even alot of money needed.....so think about that first. Heres what I know: a male that is happy and ready will build a bubble nest. Live food is...
