Flat, "ray" looking algea eater? help ID

ok i have been searching the net for days for this fish-i've seen it at petshops before...they are not too common but not too rare also-they look like small sting rays but they are freshwater algae eating fish-flat body with a long tail? you can usually see its mouth when its sucking on glass towards you...please give me the name if you know thanks

Sounds like a hillstream loach. Usually a cooler water fish that likes strong water movement.

I have kept these they are wierd but cool very hardy too.
