I don't know much about sororities, but I think they are supposed to be odd numbers. I have had a male betta with ADFS and the betta would eat ALL the food. I have noted that many others have had the same experience. I don't know if female bettas hog food any less than the males.

I'm sorry about Phoenix :( That seems like an odd position for a dead fish, most I've seen end up on their side. I wonder if that is in any way a clue of cause of death.

Hi all, I really like the look of wood in tanks but I don't like the price :p Can I use any wood in a tank? They've just cut down a pine tree near my place and I could grab some interesting looking pieces of wood there. Could I use that if I baked it or boiled it?
