Hello everyone, just a quick update with very crappy photos.
Casper is my first ever betta that i have has since august. Meanwhile i bought another betta that has been rehomed in my girlfriend's house. Casper had a friend, the apple snail but it died because i'm so careless that i smashed it.
Casper has been doing awesome! He eats as usual, swims around more than usual and his fins are so spread! It's like he's flaring but not. I think his fins are getting bigger and bigger, at least the top one. He's my first betta which happens to be a stunner, he's a veiltain red buddy.
Such a cute guy.
Here are some of the (crappy) photos i got of him:

He's looking really healthy and happy!
You're doing a great job taking care of him!

Just about your comment on his fins growing, since he is a veiltail, there is a chance his fins will never stop growing, as it is quite common for VT's to do this.

He's beautiful! Our first Betta was named Casper as well, but he was a blue veil tail. :)

The Betta in my profile pic <<< was named Casper :)

Your's looks nice, no fin damage to speak of really. How big is his tank? It looks rather narrow in one of those pictures.

I did not know that. The other betta that my girlfriend rehomed had much longer fins that just disappeared because of fin rot (already treated) but i never tought Casper would get his fins as big and the other betta had but right now they are starting to get something like that!

2.5 gallon. It's quite big actually

hahaha big.. I'd say that's the min size for a Betta. Granted they can live in smaller tanks, they tend to get listless - be sure to change the decorations around so he has someplace new to explore every so often :)
