Okay, first of all, you have to read the whole thing before answering.... My platy had some ich, so I cranked the temp up to kill it, (which I've done before w/ close monitoring, (temp was at 90F) and my fish were perfectly fine, and the ich was gone very soon.) and then left the tank, because...

That's not normal. He probably had an internal parasite or bacterial infection or something. I don't have any experience w/ dragon gobies, but I DO know that him being in that shape isn't normal. Though it won't do much good to complain, and you'd be supporting the store to buy him. But then...

I actually used that picture for a monopoly game. We had to make a board game, so I made a fish breeding version of monopoly, and my friend put that as one of the symbols on the money. I think it was on the 50$ one. :lol:

Thanks. The worms were in my gravel, and I just finished treating my fish for intestinal worms, so it shouldn't be that.

Same thing happened to me today, but no fish died. (Thank goodness.) Like everyone else said, do a water change. What's the ammonia level at? The nitrites are high, but you can get rid of that by doing water changes.

Yeah, most likely. You can probably get a medicated food. All of them contain almost the same meds. I live in Canada, so I had to get someone who was visiting the States to get me some. Good luck! :good:

It's fine. It even says on the bottle of most medicated food. "You can use this food with any other external water treatments." So it will be fine. I've done it before. Good luck! :good:

Actually it turned out to be ich. I treated it with heat and the medication. I have a food with levimasole. Thanks.
