A mag 7 is 700 GPH, then you have Koralia pumps. That's quite a bit of flow right there. Just based on head loss I would say the mag 9 would likely be better though.

1) Is the mag12 too much pump? I figure it will turn about 800 gallons an hour at 5' head ( there are no elbows from pump to return except of course the elbow at the actual return.   Well...to me the Mag12 is a lot of pump for a 90 but that does depend on what's in it. Same with the Koralia...

Even though the tank may seem large to you it's actually much too small for an oscar. You're looking at more like 250 liters for that fish to have a nice healthy life. There are many ways to rehome a fish that work well. You can find someone locally to trade with, a shop that gives store credit...

It does look like diatoms to me. Algae and other growth is common in the first few months of a tank's life. They all go through a period I call the uglies. 

So, you all noticed the site was down. It was a pretty substantial server crash.    The OUCH! part is that it was so bad that it couldn't be fixed and the site had to be restored from a back up copy which means...sadly indeed...that some posts and data were lost. Fortunately the site is backed...

Side laying, and generally laying about, is normal for these fish. They spend a great deal of time like in the below picture from Google. Don't expect too much daytime activity out of it.   I suppose it's due to the nature of their skin they don't really seem to like being in rocks, perhaps too...

A good way to do it in a sump is to make sure it's placed so water can circulate all around it well. Since aesthetics don't matter in the sump it's function that's important. It's a nice looking set up. With that much rock in the sump you will be able to keep the display nice and clean looking.

This is sound advice. 

Since you just put it there I think you should observe it for a few days and see how things go. If you don't like the result then move it down and point it up.

I really does kind of depend on a number of factors. Size of tank, GPH of the powerhead, and what fish are in the tank. I understand. For me, at this point, I realize my online footprint is too large for me to really cover it now. I've got a web site, YouTube channel, admin on three forums, and more. I'm doomed. 

That section is for actual reviews. A place to let people know what hobby related books are worth reading. 

I switched from IE to Chrome after the MS did an update a while back. I couldn't do what I needed to do anymore with some of my web sites. Chrome seems to be the most compatible of the browsers I've tried (which is all of them except Safari).

Is this under the review section or somewhere else? The review section is for reviews of products that people have actually used. If someone had a link to a book they either didn't read, or didn't want to review, they would make a post in another area about that.
