Pasting

How do you paste links into this forum on a PC? I can do it on my ipad, but PCs at home and today work, I can't do a thing.
Regular ctrl C then ctrl V does nothing.
Right click and copy followed by right click and paste is greyed out on the menu.
If I click the box to add a link, I can paste the URL, but then, OK, cancel or the x in the corner, nothing removes the box, I have to refresh the page to get rid of it.
There are 3 paste options at the top of the reply box, I've OKed the access to my clipboard, but still nothing happens when I click them.

Highlight the text you want to make a link. Click the link icon. Paste into the box that pops up. If that doesn't work then check your clipboard settings in Windows.
