Is Something Wrong With The Site?

I switched from IE to Chrome after the MS did an update a while back. I couldn't do what I needed to do anymore with some of my web sites. Chrome seems to be the most compatible of the browsers I've tried (which is all of them except Safari).

Similar here.  With IE I can't copy links, nor do quotes.  I've had issues with IE on other sites too.  And last week I downloaded the latest IE with updates, no different.  Chrome has not given me any of these issues.

I gave up on IE years ago ... it's so s-l-o-w.... chrome is like a rocket in comparison

Last version of IE on any pc here was 6.0 and it was a backup. When I built this box one of the first things i did was to disable IE. I would quit using the net before I ever willingly allow software made by Google or Apple on my system with exception of the QuickTime plug in which must ask to be activated. I even blew off Firefox last year.
 
I am old school, I highly value my privacy. It is why I do not use any social networking sites, they are the antithesis of privacy. I must be doing something right since when I search the TTA name I get a ton of stuff back. When I enter my real name into Google, I get almost nothing connected to me back. I do see a lot of info for people with the same name but who are not me.

I understand. For me, at this point, I realize my online footprint is too large for me to really cover it now. I've got a web site, YouTube channel, admin on three forums, and more. I'm doomed.

This prolem has returned today. In addition navigating the sites is reminding of the old dialup days- very slow

Have noticed recently that sometimes it takes a little while to load the forum page.
 
Any other website I switch to loads pretty much instantly, just this site takes the longest to load fully.
