Well my 5 gallon is no longer a snail only tank. I added 6 male endlers today. I was getting bored just looking at snails in my office tank.

While the car runs forward or reverse the pistons in the engine move up and down. There is a crankshaft in the engine to synchronize the pistons.

the parts all come on flat sheets. The parts are laser cut making it easy to remove them from the sheets. Nothing like the smell of fresh wood. No gluing is required . I found it relaxing and enjoyable assembling the models. And have great satisfaction once I displayed the working models...

I built this wooden train from 550 laser cut parts. It goes forward and backwards on a wooden track. It is powered by 10 elastic bands. The wheels and linkages move and also the gearing rotates.

I built this wooden car from 750 laser cut pcs. It is powered by multiple elastic bands . The windows roll up and down, the doors open and close, it steers, goes forward or backwards and you can see the pistons go up and down. Even has a hood and trunk release inside the car. And the wipers move.

It took 98 years for Noah to build Noah’s Ark. At the rate he is going, @Back in the fold may surpass that timeframe for his model ship build. :lol:

I think @Back in the fold should have bought this one first as he could have finished it in maybe one year instead of 10 years or more at the rate he is going for building his very expensive intricate ship which he started building over 4 years ago.

The kit I built is made by Dumas and can be bought on Amazon for $81.

I built my “ship” in just 15 hrs over 3 days’ time. Though it’s not quite as intricate a @connorlindeman’s and @Back in the fold’s ships. Mine is a model of a 27 ft 1938 Chris Craft TRIPLE Cockpit Barrelback “ship.” :lol:

We should take bets on who will finish their ship first... @connorlindeman or @Back in the fold . I'll place my bet on @connorlindeman finishing first even though @Back in the fold has a 4 year headstart :lol:

Tank has been running for over 3 years and planted fully during that time.

I have a 5 gallon tank with only two nerite snails in it. I have not done a WC in over a month. Water level is down about 1/3. In your opinion,, how often would it be recommended to do a partial WC or is just topping off good enough? I have lots of anubias in the tank and feed with flake...

Lions/Texans game on Sunday night was quite entertaining to watch. Early in the game the Texans led by 23 to 7. But the Lions scored 19 unanswered points in the 2nd half to win 26 to 23. There were 7 turnovers in the game. Crazy game. :blink:

now that I think about it, I watch maybe 10 channels that are worth watching.

Using an antenna, I get about 60 channels on my TV, although about half of those aren't worth watching.
