i am running a juwel 180 with an eheim ecco pro external filter and the built in filter.I have 12 malawis ranging from 1"-2".Had this set up for about 6 months and have even added a catfish.Some might say my tank is not adequate but so far so good.

Yes sounds like a plan you would think they would make all juwel/arcadia universal so it would make things easier.

I have a juwel rio180 with the old T8 lighting.Is it compatable with arcadia lighting although it is 5mm longer than the original juwel lighting.

I have to "big up" eheim filters as i run a ecco pro 300 my 180l tank is crystal clear and oh so quiet. And to top it of only paid £20 second hand a real deal. :good:

Hi all,just bought a eheim 2236 for £20 including inlet pipes and taps and substrate for my juwel 125 chiclid tank(soon to be a180l). I think the only thing missing is the foam media, do i need to get a carbon,a course and a white one and is the filter easy to set up as i have no instructions...

Why not leave them out for the day the sun will bleach them

I have a friend who swears blind juwel have done or do a 150l tank i have looked everywhere and can find no refence to this "urban myth". Can anybody back me up on this????

Is the spray bar essential or can i do without??

Im after an external filter for my rio 125 and saw an eheim 2213 going for 15 quid on ebay.The only problem is there are no inlet pipes or spray bar. Now is the filter worth buying and finding cheap replacement parts or shall i save my pennies and go for a fluval305 or tetratec1200???

Im thimking of replacing the internal filter from my juwel 125 with a fluval205/305.Would i have to modify the tank lid to accomadate the filter tubes and is the process easy? Lastly are fluval filters quiet?

Hi all am a new member and like this forum. My question is im thinking of removing the filter on my juwel 125 and getting an external filter.This may sound silly but where do i put the heater do i just clip it onto the edge of the tank or something else.?
