Sunsoaking Ornaments To Rid Of Snails

I have emptied 4 of my ponds and left them out in the sun for 2 weeks to make sure there are no snails remaining when refilling......

I am refilling right now, and have some rocks & stuff which I want to move over to them, but do not want any hitchhikers..... What is the minimum amount of time I need to sun-soak these rocks to ensure that any snail eggs or live snails on them will not be transferred to the new setup??? (the sun is quite sharp today, so will 40minutes be ample???

Why not leave them out for the day the sun will bleach them

Why not leave them out for the day the sun will bleach them

Personally rather than a sun-soak or leaving them in the sun (IS there a difference? ) I would dip them in a 25% bleach solution then plenty of rinsing (and a spot of sun-bathing after, perhaps with a cocktail?)
