Bolivians are usually very peaceful, I think you got unlucky there. GBRs are much more sensitive and not guaranteed to be any more peaceful than a BR.   Is this a second tank or have you written off your flowerhorn because you can't buy medication for it? Sounds like an expensive project.

You should have been testing you water this whole time so you could see the ammonia and nitrite spike. The problem with using fish food is you can't know how much ammonia those flakes have produced so don't know if it's enough to support new fish. I would keep adding food and test daily to see...

This is normal and will likely always happen unless you've cleaned the pipes\filter as well. It would have just been sucked back into the filter on its own, no water changes needed :) A helpful trick is to hold a net over the spraybar to catch anything that spews out.

Have you been adding ammonia to feed the filter bacteria this whole time? If not you don't know if you are cycled unless you add 3ppm of ammonia and returns to 0 ammonia and 0 nitrate in less than 24 hours.    My guess is no, you are not cycled, since you say you haven't been testing the water. 

As far as the angels go, they will be fine with harlequins. Harlequins are quite deep bodied and will be a bit too big for an angel's mouth. Because the harlequins will swim mid-water and the RTBS will be at the bottom of the tank that shouldn't be a problem either. But I wouldn't add any other...

Well Waterlife sterazin treats body and gill flukes and internal worms so may cover more potential problems. However, my P&H doesn't carry this brand but my Maidenhead aquatics does.

Yep it's pretty common for them to have blue on them. All 9 angels I've owned had blue on them and none were "blue" angels. Two were wild type and the rest have been marble/blushing/gold angels. That's a lovely fish you have there though!
