I woke up today and came and looked at my tank and my angel fish have a blue tint to them, but they have never had this before. I read its because they are happy and its a sign of breeding am I correct ?

Though i don't know the answer to that mate, I do think it's really awesome! Looks great!

There are actually blue angelfish. A somewhat rare strain to have.

All angels, including the wild, do have some irridescence to them. When bred specifically it's know as the Philippine blue gene. Yours are probably just healthy and in at a good light angle for the photo.

Yep it's pretty common for them to have blue on them. All 9 angels I've owned had blue on them and none were "blue" angels. Two were wild type and the rest have been marble/blushing/gold angels.

That's a lovely fish you have there though!

Yes they are healthy, but its not an angle or lighting in the picture all of the are glowing for the first time, I have just spend a fortune on the tank aquascaping and since I put them back in this has happened, I am really impressed.

Reason I commented on the light is that angels tend to not actually be blue, but to be iridescent to blue light, so they have to be reflecting something, but yes, healthy happy fish. Well done.
