My Green terror is also a sissy, it gets put into place by a rainbow shark :huh: . However you can get some right nasty terrors, i've seen a few people on this forum with some :crazy:. Bleeding heart tetra can work with terrors, what size is your tank?

Thinking of topping the Panda Corydoras back to 6 as the Nijsseni seem to be leaving them alone since the re-scape. Just wondering how many cardinal would fit? or maybe i could move my current 4 cardinal to another tank and try something else? :P

I remember you getting that sand a very long time ago and you hadn't had any problems with it since then? So think i'm going to go with FishFanatic with the bacteria infection of some sort :unsure:

My green terror is like a big neon tetra, dominance order in my tank is; Rainbow shark > Male Kribensis > Male Green Terror :huh: I've been recommended bleeding heart tetra as dither fish for green terrors, could look nice in a 450L.

Kribensis? Nice picture of them in my sig, they can get pretty aggressive during breeding though. Let me know what you go with :lol:

Most people say 20g minimum tank size for a pair of bolivians, your 120L could work? Personally i'd try the apistos :lol:

What's your pH? Bolivian rams would work in a slightly harder water.

I have a male and female, if they pair up and breed i'll have to work something out :lol: EDIT: okay so since posting on here my female nijsseni is constantly going for my cory, the male however doesn't take any notice to them. Guess it's going to be luck of the draw on the fish itself, would...

I have some young wild caught apistogramma nijsseni in with panda cory, aint had any problems here yet. There's a little bit of aggression towards the cory every once and a while but normally only when the cory get too close, never seen one get nipped yet though.

I use.. Handle with a blade on the end, also switches to a pad type thingy ma bobby :unsure:

Sometimes stick my hand in for my male green terror or apistogramma (obviously not the same tank) to chew on if that counts as live food? :rolleyes: But on a serious note, isn't worth the risk really with the worms.

I've had my 240L tank sitting on a piece of living room furniture that has 4 legs that are about 6inch high instead of a flat bottom for roughly 3 years with no problems :hyper:. I stuck another in the middle for little bit of extra help though. ^ Might make you feel a little better :lol:

Hard to explain really, it's like a white growth that's slightly see-through with a little red and black inside but isn't fluffy like a fungus. Going off the picture i posted up top my LFS suggested it was a protozoan infection and a good parasite treatment would help. Here's another picture...

That krib is a stunner, surprised the barbs aint munched that fry.. I used to have barbs in with my terrors and they didn't last seconds :blink:

If this is a protozoan infection, just wondering what meds you guys would recommend? Sorry about picture quality, could try get a better one if needed.

Nope nothing, finished todays water change then it happened - thought maybe pH shock but was 5 days after water change on the other female, checked pH anyway and all seems fine.

Just lost the other female now, exactly the same happened. Any idea's guys?

Doesn't have to fit perfectly, just whack it in as much as you can then slowly switch out your old filter media for the newer stuff. I think? worked for me anyway, got a slight little ammonia hip but nothing serious.
