How big do they grow? What size tank? Min number to keep together? Any special things to keep in mind? Thanks!

I think it's 2"
10 gallons
6
:good:
I've heard that they're delicate if that helps :good:

I believe the Panda Corys are a bit sensitive as Manofish just said & they also prefer cooler water than most other Corys.

My pandas have to be rehomed. They are so sensitive, and everytime my light comes on they go pale. Its is a very bright light. I want them happy, so they have to go. Just my experience. They are very cute if you have the right setup for them.

So, guess they're out for my female betta tank :( oh well - they're just so cute!

They grow to around 2" (5cm). they prefer a sandy substrate, but you can keep them with pea or rounded gravel. Temperature:22-26oC (72-79oF) They will eat flake - but you have to get an egg cup put a little tank water in drop in the flake and swish it around before putting into your tank so it sinks or the flake will just float on the top and get eaten by the other fish before the pandas get a chance! They also need sinking granular, wafer and pellet foods, and frozen with frozen/live foods.

They should be kept in groups of no less than 6. I have had some in my tank since I started fish keeping 4 years ago and wouldnt be without them they are such lovely little fish.

Its a misconception than pandas are fragile or delicate, in theory they are just has hardy has most given the right conditions they will thrive has well as any other cory...especially nowadays as they will readily breed.

I started with 6 now i have 15 of them :) - they're slightly smaller than most cories, super active and will readily eat most foods, favs being sinking granules, although none of my cories are over keen on flakes

My point was just that I don't have the right environment for them. They are not enjoying my high tech tank with the lighting. They really are cute cories.
