The smaller grained one seems to be more very dark misty grey with a very fine blue tint, goes well with the rocks tbh. Think i prefer it over the darker bag of sand, mixes together well though. Sand, scape, water is in and the floor is holding - tomorrow is 100% water change as i didn't clean...

Just reporting in that i'm still alive, filled tank today with an overdose of prime to kill off the bleach. Now it's empty again for the sand and scape to refill it so it'll be even heavier :fun: Rosy tetra was something else i was recommended.

Doesn't always grow fast for me, sometimes it'll grow like no tomorrow and others it'll take forever :S It tends to grow towards the light but if you keep it trimmed short it eventually grows 'fluffy' looking.

I did a pretty weak bleach and water mix on the diffuser, left it over night and tried to pump air through it this morning with a weak pump. Got some hissing sound but no bubbles, going to try pure bleach this time. Will let you know how it turns out :fun:

After doing some hunting i did actually end up coming home with this :lol: not sure it'll unblock my diffuser but feel safer using it now somebody else has :good:

Is it a fuzzy looking fluffy kind of thing? :S I've had it on a few pieces of wood with no problems but i'm not sure if it's dangerous or not and i've just been lucky. If you can't get a picture up, i'll try one of mine so you can compare.
