What to do if Bettas accidentally bred?

If it makes you feel any better I have both males and females together and have had a total of 1 baby survive. So predation is high with them.

    40 Gallon Tank Stocking

Not necessarily overstocked but too busy with 5 schools of fish inhabiting the same area of the tank. I probably would do 2-3 schools of mid swimmers with cories and a centerpiece fish. Larger schools of fish usually have more natural behavior.

    Breeding in community tank

I get that reaction a lot. The tank was set up in January 2016 and they were all supposed to be baby girls. Some turned out to be male and I didn't feel a need to separate them. Still dont. Its not necessarily a stocking I would recommend but its working for me.

    Breeding in community tank

I have 3 males and 16 females with glowlight tetras and cories in a 75 gallon tank. So far in 2 years I have had 1 baby born in my tank. Has anyone had any success breeding them in a community tank? I know I can set up another tank but that's not as cool. Any suggestions to up my chances?

    Best Pellet Food For Bettas

For some reason most of mine totally ignore pellets. They like flakes so that's what I mostly feed them. They get other treats and pick at the big pellets I give the cories but small pellets just go into the gravel. Haven't tried peas on them.

    I am so confused.

Yea light is a big factor. Most people recommend 6-8 hours of light. I have mine on timers if not I tend to just let them on for 12-14 hours and things turn green .

    Betta Fish Sick? Need Help

Bettas should be kept at 78-82* f Typically water changes are done bi weekly to weekly . Fish create ammonia which in a cycled tank will be broken all the way down to nitrates but I assume your tank isn't cycled since that takes a minimum of a month . So in short I see 2 big problems temp and...

For constipation you could try a blanched peeled pea. I usually microwave for 10 seconds and wait for it to cool. Get off as much skin as possible and go from there. Bloating is usually associated with it but not always.
