Hello, the guppy worms have stricken again... this time Camallanus worms. How can I get rid of them effectively? My Fritz Expel-P is arriving tomorrow, and wondering what other precautions i should do? I separated the fish that is visibly infected, others dont seem to be infected.

around 3-4 years old I used carbon for a year. nice, will this get rid of foul smells like cyanobacteria?

my hybrids get larger than my wild types, at least in my experience. my hybrid Koi swordtail grew faster and larger than its more wild cousins

I'd love to have a vacation there! my swordtails pull and nip at the hairs of my arm... my fish tank is pretty fast-flowing, a super powerful powerhead blasting at all times. but i guess a 75g with a high-ish concentration of massive swordtails isn't the best for them to release their energy!

the water change I did was around 40% each week. I am very consistent with water changes every week or less than a week. I'm suspecting it's because I washed the filter too much, or because I added some snails.

hi! swordtails grow to like 4 inches long and mollies possibly even larger. Platies are smaller, and they would be a perfect fit for a 20g, and look just the same as a swordtail, just shorter body.

hello, some of my swordtails got mouth rot for some reason. params perfect, only different thing is that I recently cleaned the filter and put a heater in. perhaps it's too hot. did a large water change, which usually solves the problem. wondering if some medicated food will help this?

Those are roots on the bottom, and they seem to be white at the tips, which means new growth :) I think you'll just need to give this little guy time to anchor down!

Hello everyone! I just got 3 goodeids! This has been one of my wishlisted fish for a very long time. very very interesting, compared to other livebearers they tend to stay to the bottom(maybe because they are just nervous) I'm not sure what species they are, only labeled as characodon...

i think a clear shrimp would look wonderful in here, or a filter shrimp adult shrimp cannot be eaten by minnows
