My guppy i think is still pregnant i think because i still see ger gravid spot.. and still looks kinda dark and she only had 8 fry so far? is she done or she still preg?

It's been 2 days and still no fry.. should i let her out today or keep her in for one more day?

I have 2 female guppies who are pregnant and they seem to kinda be goin after her stomach.. alot latley started today she has no injuries but they been chasing her and stuff.. so does that mean she's close to giving birth or not?

Yes i only thought there was 9 types of danio's I am so lost haha. Oh well. More the better lol.. Well White cloudds are tuff fish, and rasboras i can't say i haven't had one..but the white clouds i had were tuff and lived a long life..

Thats awsome.. i don't have many.. I have one thats is really really close to me, but it's not that great of a LFS but it specializs in fish though.. the secound closest would be petsmart and it has a poor selection of fish.. and ehh there service isn't that great.. but actualltly a new petsmart...

for my other 29 gal i plan on getting, all diffrent sorts of mollies,swords, Platies, Guppies, COrries, and some other stuff mabey, but since it is a 29 gal i can't get much other things, depending on how many of eacj fish i get... So not sure.. i know not to over stock and stuff..i learned that...

Ok i was curious, sorry if this question has been posted some where, i couldn't find anything on here about this. if you can please tell me. If I had a bunch of Mollies, guppies, Swordtails, platies, and such, and each species had 2 of each the same colored fish, say there were 2 black mollies...

Ok i read the the pinned post on subsitrate on sand and it said a few negative things about it. It said anaerobic pockets and silt. Now i guess i am confused, is it common to get anaerobic pockets ? Because i am thinking about getting sand in a new tank i am going to set up. :unsure:

I would say fresh water, because it will give you more experience, and i know saltwater is more expensive, especially the fish, i would try out the fresh and go small at first see if you like it. And work your way up and you can buy a new tank just for saltwater, but it's all up to you, either...

Congrats and yes the neons will try to eat your fry so will the mother when it's done, and your other platies..

Well I have a 29 gal tank to and i have about 21 fish, but there all small fish, so it depends on what type of fish and how their size and how much room the fish needs to swim. Also territory because if you put tp much in there depending on the fish they will fight for a spot.. but i don't want...

ok thanks i think i am going to wait a long time before i go to real plants because my last plants i had didn't live long.. and made the tank for some reason even dirtier cause of the dead leaves and stuff. Fake plants will have to do for now.. i better wait till i get more expierence too.

Ok i have noticed that alot of people breed there fish easily and most of those people are people who have been doing it for a long time or a while or know what there doing. My question to you is how do you breed cories and live beares togther and or tetras because i know there eat there...

I can't tell if my guppies are pregnant or what... Ive looked and looked and still can't tell.. i have looked up info and still can't tell for some reason.. One of them has a bigger belly, the gravid spot looks alittle bigger than the other fish but the other fish is younger so i am not sure...

Last Question about coolie Loaches, Are they jumpers? Do they jump out of tanks easily ?

Thanks for the Info... I am going to start up a new tank in a month or 2 and i am planning ahead of time for it, so if i get sand how would i clean it before i add the sand to the tank? I used a strainer for the gravel when ever i use gravel

Could you use small gravel in a tank with coolie loaches or do they need a tank with a sand? Because i heard that they could eassily injure themselfs. ????
