Very nice cories, Inchworm. He had an auction for a group of the C. venezuelanus with an albino. Is this that group? They will be spawning for you in no time. The group he sent me has grown from 14 to I dont know how many. I dont even get the eggs anymore.

Thanks PC1963. As you know, I have been after these fish for a while. I understand about losing fish. I have lost several in one of my tanks over the last week or so. Ive learned that is going to happen, no matter how much time you spend taking care of them.

Im just keeping the Brochis in the tank without other fish. The up against the glass thing must be normal because mine are always swimming along the glass too.

Just to give a little update. These fish are incredible. It looks like they have finally settled in. It took them a little longer then most of the other fish I have gotten. Im looking at them right now and they are schooling along the glass in and out of the plants. My B. splendens do that...

Thats what I was going to say. Otto's will do better in a mature tank with some algae already present. They also do better in large groups of 8 or so. If you decide to go with Otto's, make sure you put something like algae wafers in the tank for them to eat. They do well in live planted...

Im sorry to hear about that. If they are C. aeneus, then do not worry. They will usually spawn once a week once they get started and once they get older, they will lay around 200 eggs at a time. Just keep up on those daily water changes and keep the bottom of the tank clean and those 4...

I posted these over in the Corydoras section, but thought I would also post them here. I got some Brochis multiradiatus and Brochis britskii yesterday. The multiradiatus are in the 4" range :blink: Thanks for looking :)

Thanks for the nice comments everyone :good: Well it is hard to tell by these pictures. The B. multiradiatus are a lot bigger then the britskii, so its very easy for me to tell at home. I will try to get some pictures to show the difference, but they didnt like the light being on that soon...

Well they are here and they are big :blink: They are not the happiest right now, so no pictures probably until tomorrow. They have completely disappeared behind the plants and driftwood anyways. I can see the little C. pygmaeus swimming around though. Some Pictures:

Wow, those are great pictures! Are those C. aeneus fry? Those pictures will really help with identifing the fertile eggs.

Right now, just 6 Tiger Barbs to keep it cycled until tomorrow when Im getting some Brochis britskii, Brochis multiradiatus and Corydoras pygmaeus. Although Im seriously considering putting my Corydoras weitzmani in there instead. Im worried the Brochis are going to tear it apart.

If they are cloudy white, then they are not fertile. If they look fuzzy, then they are fungused. They turn dark as the days go by as the cory is growing in the egg. They should hatch within 2-3 days from being layed. Do you still have a filter in the tank? If so what kind? Do you have a...
