    New Corys! W/pics

Very nice cories, Inchworm. He had an auction for a group of the C. venezuelanus with an albino. Is this that group? They will be spawning for you in no time. The group he sent me has grown from 14 to I dont know how many. I dont even get the eggs anymore.

    More New Fish

Thanks PC1963. As you know, I have been after these fish for a while. I understand about losing fish. I have lost several in one of my tanks over the last week or so. Ive learned that is going to happen, no matter how much time you spend taking care of them.

    More New Fish

Very nice fish! I have wanted some of those C. narcissus for a while. They are pretty big, because I know they Brochis are big and the C. narcissus dont look small in that tank. As for all the fish, I think it will be fine. Ive got the 6 britskii and multiradiatus in a 29 gallon too. They...

    More New Fish

I fed mine live black worms today. First time I have ever had them. They went crazy! I fed my other cories them too and they all loved them. Its fun to watch them wrestle them down :good:

Im just keeping the Brochis in the tank without other fish. The up against the glass thing must be normal because mine are always swimming along the glass too.

    More New Fish

Thanks. Ive had them for about a year and half now. I have lost 2 of the original 7 and I didnt even know until today. C. narcissus. Very nice. I havent seen an ounce of aggression out of my Brochis, so they should do well with them. They are gentle giants. I have one thats got to be...

    Black Cories

Im not sure. I have had pictures of them on here in the past. I set them up a 10 gallon tank to get them in spawning condition. I have been wanting to do that for over a year now. You can see a picture of some of them in the Brochis thread :good:

    More New Fish

Here is a quick picture of spme of the C. weitzmani before they went into their new tank. Im going to start feeding them live blackworms along with the food they always have to get them in spawning condition and have a try at that. They need some more food. They were in a 55 gallon with a...

    Baby Panda Suprise!

Great story :) It says a lot about the great condition your tank is in for the fry to survive like that with no help from you. Well done :good:

    More New Fish

Im working on the pictures. I have never seen a albino skunk cory. It would be interesting to see one. I dont even know if you will find one. Skunk cories dont usually breed in the home aquarium, which makes an albino that much more rare. I am counting Scleromystax in my count, but I dont...

    More New Fish

Hey Inchworm, I have some spotted cories that I will never know what they are because there are so many out there, it would be impossible to know what they are without knowing where they were caught. I bought them at a LFS, so I will never know. I can just go by what some people have told me...

    More New Fish

How big are the B. Splendens? I dont see where you will have any problems. I actually thought of setting up a 55 gallon for all my Brochis. They seem to really enjoy each others company, no matter if they are a different species. Yes, Its very good to have Inchworm back and yes she is the...

Very nice pictures Inchworm :good: Im going to get some more of mine when I get some time. They are always active it seems. They will all stop and sit in the corner for a couple of minutes and go at it again. The multiradiatus get along very well with the britskii. Its quite a site to see...

    More New Fish

Just to give a little update. These fish are incredible. It looks like they have finally settled in. It took them a little longer then most of the other fish I have gotten. Im looking at them right now and they are schooling along the glass in and out of the plants. My B. splendens do that...

Llj's Kitten Thread, The Rosebush One.

I got a kitten from the Vet for my Mom about 2 years ago and she looked just like Cleo. She also has some smelly gas  This is a great thread and its awesome how you raised these kittens and are giving them new homes. I like the way Belle looks. Good luck with the other kittens :good:

    Corys Vs Ottos

Thats what I was going to say. Otto's will do better in a mature tank with some algae already present. They also do better in large groups of 8 or so. If you decide to go with Otto's, make sure you put something like algae wafers in the tank for them to eat. They do well in live planted...

    Majer Dizaster

Im sorry to hear about that. If they are C. aeneus, then do not worry. They will usually spawn once a week once they get started and once they get older, they will lay around 200 eggs at a time. Just keep up on those daily water changes and keep the bottom of the tank clean and those 4...

I posted these over in the Corydoras section, but thought I would also post them here. I got some Brochis multiradiatus and Brochis britskii yesterday. The multiradiatus are in the 4" range  Thanks for looking :)

    More New Fish

Thanks for the nice comments everyone :good: Well it is hard to tell by these pictures. The B. multiradiatus are a lot bigger then the britskii, so its very easy for me to tell at home. I will try to get some pictures to show the difference, but they didnt like the light being on that soon...

    More New Fish

    New Planted Tank

Right now, just 6 Tiger Barbs to keep it cycled until tomorrow when Im getting some Brochis britskii, Brochis multiradiatus and Corydoras pygmaeus. Although Im seriously considering putting my Corydoras weitzmani in there instead. Im worried the Brochis are going to tear it apart.

    Cory Eggs

If they are cloudy white, then they are not fertile. If they look fuzzy, then they are fungused. They turn dark as the days go by as the cory is growing in the egg. They should hatch within 2-3 days from being layed. Do you still have a filter in the tank? If so what kind? Do you have a...
