    Too Slow!

Why is it being fed feeders? Feeders are normally (or at least should be) fish that are swallowed straight away whole. It's not great for them to be chased around in a confined area, where they most likely get exhausted then eaten. Much easier for the turtle and you to feed dead fish to the...

Giant Man Eating Catfish Found In China!

A simple google would of told you it was a whale shark, even if you've just watched a wildlife programme on the ocean in general, most seem to involve whale sharks.

Giant Man Eating Catfish Found In China!

*Shakes head* Looks nothing like a walking catfish... Which normally get around 24". It's a whale shark from what I can tell, they do not eat people, they eat crustaceans... It's not a catfish, it's a shark. What has been said on that report is utter "poo".

    'blackening' Of Fishes?

Black colouring can be stress, in the case of discus for example. Surroundings also have a part to play e.g. black gravel often makes fish look darker. Also different diets can affect colouring.

Planning On Building Super Oddball Tank

Auchenoglanis occidentalis, unlike what that link you posted says have a maximum size of 28" I think? Though that is wild size, see here, so they could well be smaller in captivity(?). The green terror pair if they breed will dominate the other fish in most cases, depending on the fish...

New Tank, New Catfish, New Spiny Eel!

Yeah, I think the larger number you have will make them more active as well. Have you considered using a moon light so you see them more often? What filter are you using as well?

They weren't all fine then really. Were you testing the water (out of interest)? There is an excellent German site, Mini fische, I can't find a link though, on species of small fish.

    Dwarf Puffers

Would it not be better to think why they say it? 2 in a 5g in possible, I tried 2 in a heavily planted 4g and that failed however. Heavy planting and decor to break up the tank and provide hiding places will be key. Again there's a pinned topic to read through on dwarf puffers here.

    Stocking Advice

A common plec will easily out grow a 33g. There are around 5 different species under the name "common plec" some getting to 24"+ in size, Pterygoplichthys disjunctivus the biggest reaches 28".

Is My Bichir A Senegal Bichir?

I wouldn't stick with just the guppies and earthworms though. They (or at least mine did) will eat most things, a good carnivore pellet would be great. Are you gut loading the guppies and breeding them yourself?

    Disus Experts Anywhere?

What are the dimensions of the tank? Anything less than 18" tall and the discus will not grow properly. You shouldn't keep them in groups less than 5 unless you have a breeding pair. You would ideally want R.O. water depending on what water the fish was raised in but that isn't always necessary...

    Value My Fish

I'd say you'd do well to get that. I find it's normally around a third of what LFS sell fish at. Also most large plec's have to be given away, they just get to a size too big for most people (24" in some species). If you can get the price above though, you'd do well in my eyes.

    75 Gallon Tank- Never Home

You could always just put some sort of oddball/catfish, that won't need feeding so much. Not all of them need to be feed every day. Some of the larger predatory catfish need feeding just once a week. You wouldn't get the community tank you've talk about, but the fish would be off most likely.

Anyone Have Any Experience Of This?

I wouldn't use it as the only filter on a tank that size. A 5ft 150litre would need more I say, depending on the stocking.

    Tank

Depends on the syno. and the size of it.... Is the albino plec a common or a BN? I'd say if you got rid of all the fish you have in there now, something like a snakehead or a puffer would be a good fish for the tank.
