Anyone Have Any Experience Of This?

Hey all, good moring, found this on ebay, thought it would be ideal for my 5ft 150litre tank, anyone had one before or can offer any advice on it? its 550lph so should be ample for my tank but please offer me some wisdom before I take the plunge (and if anyone hijacks my bid there will be trouble lol)

I wouldn't use it as the only filter on a tank that size. A 5ft 150litre would need more I say, depending on the stocking.

Yeh its too small. Cant you stretch to £35 ish? for an external Eheim?

What are the dimensions? If it's 5' long it wouldn't be very wide of tall would it?

The filter the most important piece of equipment IMO. It would be wise to wait and invest in a good quality one and cut back in quality on a heater or other equipment.

its 5ft (60inches) long, 15.5 inches tall and 12 inches (1foot) wide/deep which I think makes it 151 litres?

I ideally wanted an external filter but just dont think im gonna afford one

too small IMO - try looking for used eheims?

hmmm I get 152 litres? working from Uk gallons? did it on an aquarium calculator? Do you mean used eheim externals? there are a few more on ebay, I dont care what make but what output should I aim for? 500lph + that would turn it over atleast twice an hour right?
