well i keep him fat and hes by himself in a 4foot tank =P il get some pics when he gets bigger! if he doubles in a week surely he would be bigger then 6" in a whole year ?

i was on holiday last week and left my carpinte (named Imhotep) to be fed by my neighbour who gave him just 3 pellets a day when i got him he was about 0.75" long now hes doubled in size and bulked up! should i expect this rampant growth to continue ? or is this coincidence? i was waiting til...

i re released them they are wild why keep them in a manmade environment ? its sort of cruel found them under some rocks in rockpools. caught them with my hands they arent hard to catch =P i thought they were some sort of goby/blenny

they grow pretty slowly. my old one died when it was about 6"-7" it lived with aggresive american cichlids! and never once was it beaten on. makes a great ditherfish.
