I also have to admit defeat, after seeing the better pics of the fish I instantly said that it was a myan, sorry I didn't get back soon work has been keeping me pretty busy.
Recently i have reason to believe this fish is infact a female!
i read they have no sexual dimorphism or colour difference and the only way to tell is by the genital papillæ,
the other day after feeding i noticed it was starting to hang out, and it was blunt and did not come to a point.
well i snapped some pics but i have to admit the pics dont really show the shape of it, but im doubting its a male.
i need positive ID as im looking to breed from the fish, heres the pics
