My tip for fluvals is to place them in the garden and after a good run up kick them as high into the air as you can prefferably while aiming them at something solid. Then after sweeping up all the bits go and buy an eheim and never have any filter problems again.

Pictures aren't the greatest as its not easy to photograph a fish through 6 feet of water but these are some of the better shots i've got recently of my large silver arowana

The sunlight was catching the jardini perfectly this morning showing all the reds and golds on its scales and fins.

Those are smooth hounds and spur dogs, small members of the shark family. What a waste of life :(

Blue acaras are likely to attack shrimp too. Really if you want to keep fish and inverts in the same tank you are looking at keeping small fish like tetras and Corydoras.

Even if you got rid of all your tanks a marine tank is going to push your bills up more, the only reason i haven't set up the 60g marine cube i bought last year is because we can't afford to run the lighting on it :lol:

The reason for fish houses is to get away from moaning other halfs and pre teen children, the huge tank is to drown yourself in when it all gets too much

I truely cant understand why people want to pay good money to fill a tank with fancy rocks, and salt goes on chips not in water.

There are holes drilled every 2mm in the pipe above the screen. Before the scrubber was installed the pipe just T'd off onto the floss, all i did was remove the bend and put a straight connector on to take the cross pipe for the screen. Yes there are two over flow feeds to the sump one goes...

I recently shunted all the brackish fish out of the front room tank and into fish house so i could have a bit more colour on display and not have the huge algea problems that come with brackish water, you can see the back is still covered in algea which i am slowly removing a bit at each water...
