Pretty impressive hey!

Was just walking along the sea front, when realised a fisherman must of lost all his fish,

There was a hell of a lot, was pretty shocked!

Check the size of them buggers!! dunno what fish they could be!

Those are smooth hounds and spur dogs, small members of the shark family.

Maybe the fisherman lost his net and it washed up on shore

The fish are Dog fish, they are scavengers. From the amout of dog fish trapped in the net I would asumue that the net was lossed with a catch in it ( what ever the boat was fishing for ), and with dogfish being scavengers. They have found an easy meal and got trapped themselves.

That looks like a very fine drift net to me, as in the size of holes.
