How easy is it to breed kribs?? I m getting some and want to know a little background info from experienced people.

I wouldn't keep rams with them either, maybe severums or apistos.

I am planning on keeping kribs till my LFS finds HRPs on thier list and then i will get HRPs. My LFS buys fish off of me because i have been selling them for a long time, so selling krib fry wont be a problem. I heard that kribs are great community fish because they hide a lot, and only bother...

I wish i could get HRPs but its not possible anytime soon so i am gonna start with kribs. Are they as easy to breed though?? people say they are better than convicts in some cases and i was wondering what type of krib that would be??

Cons are so crazy. I was wondering if i all kribs are easy to breed, and if they require any special conditions like rams?? If they need any special conditions then no kribs, but i still have the cons on the order list.

I am going to see if i can find some, they are not too expensive. But i dont want to wait soo long, because i have my tank ready.Do they need any special treatment, what do they eat??

Can i keep rams with the Honduran Red Points?? The problem is where can i find some, because my LFS said that i would have to wait until their name came up on the availability list. Also the problem is the price, i am a student and don't have too much money to spare on my fish keeping hobby.

Aren't Honduran Red Points a type of convict?? are they easy to breed/keep? So i can't keep convicts at all with any tank mates?? If i get the Honduran Red Points what can i keep as tank mates??

They are beautiful fish, and i like your setup in the video. If i keep 10 what can i feed them? and can i keep corys for cleanup crew?

What if i put jewel cichlids in as tankmates?? or some other aggresive cichlids??

Did you try doing a water change and switching around the decorations of the tank, this helps reinstate the guppy's home and removes from territorial behavior. If that does not work then see if you can switch her at your LFS for a different female.

Do the Cons breed easy or no?? if they breed easy then i will get rid of the swords and rams, but if they are not easy to breed then i will not get any cons but will stick with the rams and swords

That is usually the case with pet stores, the workers don't even know what they are talking about. Never rely on the workers, they only want to sell the product and make money lol.

When did you get them? How big is your tank? I would try to put her in her own separate tank until you can find her a new home. Don't stress her too much though.

No, :no: why would i ever do that, i gave them back to the LFS and traded them for some german gold rams.

Thats my problem there, i got rams to see if i can breed them but the pair are both attacking each other lol so i don't know. If the cons can get along with adult 3 inch swordtails then i will get rid of the rams and try to breed convicts. If that is not going to work then i m going for jewel...

A normal drop for a normal platy is usually around 20 fry, but if you get lucky they can have a lot more.

I tried 3 but it did not work so I got rid of all of them. I guess they really wanted their own tank, but i don't have the space. The original barb still harassed my female swordtail and she is heavily pregnant so i got rid of all three of them.

Its a 3.5 footer 45 gallon tank, and i haven't put the convicts in yet. But it depends on the temperament of the convicts right?? The rams and the swordtails do fine with each other though even when someone advised me it was a crazy thing to do. So whats the verdict?

My swordtail is trying to mate with my german gold ram, and its irritating the pair of rams a lot. The male ram tries to nip the swordtail so that it moves away but at the time swordtailis too busy trying to mate with the ram. Is there a way to stop this??

Its a Aquaview 45 US gallon, and I found out too late that you have to have atleast 6 of them.

The pet store gave me 2 females. Stupid LFS people.
