It depends on the size of the tank wether id use gravel or not, If its a small tank id sooner not use gravel or anything as they make the water murky. I have gravel and sand in my 125 litre and gravel in my 50 .. im not sure i should have used anything in such a small tank..

Id say add a real live plant to the water myself as the water quality will be improved and i think its nicer for the fish and to look at tbh. Im unsure on the frog though ive heard they create alot of waste therefore the water will need changing more frequently. Correct me if im wrong guys...

I have sand and gravel a mixture, I was told that the Green spotted puffers wernt brackfish, although there were brackfish puffers available in the shop obviously not for my setup though :) I will have a think of what to add in the otherside :_) Thanks for the help mate:)

Thanks:), so far it looks like he will either have the whole roma 125 to himself or i will have to buy a divider, i may get the divider and get some green spotted puffer fish or discuss..

Using the calulator its 27.73 uk Gallons, Its a Fluval Roma 125, It has a mahoosive shipwreck which fills quite abit of the tank to provide hiding places and i have 50 plants from ebay on there way.

As the title says; what can he be kept with? If possible i want to keep him in a community tank i dont want to have to give him seperate quaters. I dont want anything that can be nippy and bite his beautiful fins.

It spent close to 2hrs in boiled kettle water I let it stand over night to settle abit, and it did but its still quite dull and murky, this morning i turned the pump on hoping that it could make a difference, just hope it doesnt get clogged up already?
