Hey as you can see im new (just look at the picture below and you can see that lol)

Im not sure if i have done something a tad wrong..

My setup is a Fluval Roma 125 tank

I have ; Gravel
& Speckled Sand..

Well i added water but must have disturbed the sand a little i was really careful but the water has gone murky ..

My question is will this clear up anytime soon/atall?

My rooms not this messy usually, i was just arranging it, and the florys were off in this picture because i want to avoid electricution lol

Thanks for anyhelp :)

HI
did u clean the sand before you put it in

It spent close to 2hrs in boiled kettle water

I let it stand over night to settle abit, and it did but its still quite dull and murky, this morning i turned the pump on hoping that it could make a difference, just hope it doesnt get clogged up already?

Surly the same will happen again?

Afterall its the sand thats made the murky water?

Im new to all this so i am learning :)

Pain in the bum though wish i didnt add sand , just gravel :(

would of been best for you to put the sand in a bucket in the bath then run hot tap till the water in the bucket was clear but its done now .
like Colin_T says just empty the tank refill it with a couple of buckets if its still murky drain it of and do it again till the waters clear then fill it up to the top :good:
