I also have babies 10 black. 1 cremecicle I've managed to catch (those lighter ones are hard to see but soooo cute) Funny thing is somehow my male got into the breeder net but he didn't eat any. So far everything I've caught is still alive.

Don't know what you mean by settle down. My ammonia nitrite and nitrate readings are perfect. Also there was no period where he looked sick. Very energetic and then dead.

Ditto on putting something in there that can eat the fry. Maybe the cat was taking care of this before. My plan is to save from the first few batches then let nature take it's course. Between an angel, rainbow shark, glass shrimp, and parent mollies I figure a lot of fry will be eaten. Next...

Well I'm not really worried about her health. She seems fine. Just that she might have dropped her babies and ate them all before I saw them. Or that oldman was right and she's not pregnant. Though I'm wondering oldman do you mean that she didn't look pregnant at all or just not ready to drop?

Instead of buying more live bearers you could just wait a month til they have their babies & get them free. But if you want to buy more I have some cremecicle lyretail mollies that are beautiful. Funny thing is that if I get a bigger/other tank the white ones are first on my list to buy.
