Hi all, Well basically i started out with my tank around 4 months ago, and i decided to go with these plants (i'm sorry i dont know what they are, didnt take any notice at the time - sorry) it looks like the ammannia gracilis, but with broader leaves and one main stalk, and they are green. but...

well last night my filter seemed to be 'ticking' and it wasnt really processing much water. so i couldnt be bothered to check it out last night and so this morning it was still ticking, so i took it out and took off the filter bit, and then the top part which houses the impeller and motor...

rught well we are planning to get a big marine tank and so have been planning what to stock it with etc etc and our general plan was to fill it mostly with inconspicuous shoaling fish with a few colourful ones to have a lot of movement and then bring out the colour in the other ones. but we saw...

I think were in the same boat here mate. its happening to my Guppies aswell, all mine that have got it have died.. sorry to break it to you.. its a mystery where its coming from..

Well so far all of my fish have been fine (see sig.) except these two/now becoming three guppies.. well basically it seems that their tails have been ripped (like a petal would be) at the bottom third of their tail, which causes them difficulty swimming and eventually causes them to die because...

nope, have had no problems whatso ever with mine.

I know they like really soft water, thats about it sorry. :blush:

Heya all, recently i've noticed that my bristlenose has stopped eating algae on the glass, it's on its own and im not sure if i should buy another? in a well planted tank with plenty of hiding spaces, ph is a bit high at the moment but im working on it.. Cheers SJC

the tank is about, 20 us gallons or about 16 uk gallons, I THINK. No from the guy at my local fish store he said that bettas are fin nippers, and i have colourful guppies so i think that would be a bad idea..? are killifish fin nippers? (sorry to ask im away from home at the moment so i cant...

Ok thanks, i thought Siamese fighting fish were fin nippers otherwise i would of bought one a long time ago ! to answer an earlier post i think its about 75 litres, umm im not really sure dont know how to check :blush: (help) SJC
