Hey guys i have a mate that needs some info.. i told him to register on here but he hasent got the internet at the moment... he would like to know (and im also intrested in this subject) what are the easiest fish to breed... and what to look for in breeding pairs and any other info thanks

right iv done a 80% water change and here are the resoults after the water change Amonia 0.25 Nitrate 10 Nitrite 0 Ph 7.2 Should i do more big chnages like this or go back to the 20 % chnages... thanksss

Right here are my resoults.. i have retested the tank water for Nitrate and its 20 instead of 160... and my tap water is Amonia 0 Nitrate 20 Nitrite 0-0.25 hope this helps i have also read in a few places that when you are doing a fish in cycle that you should have a few fish.. ist his...

ohh do you need the nitrate and nitrite and amonia from the tap wter as well? and i have one fish in there that i got with a plant... lol

Hey i have a java fern i think... that has brown spots on some of its leaves.. it was like this when i got it.. is there anything i can add to the water or any other treatment to get rid of the brown spots? just for your info my tank hasent cycled yet if that makes a difference to what i can...

Right i got my API Freshwater master test kit today so ithought id test the water straight away.. and here is what iv found Amonia 0.50 Nitrate 160 Nitrite 0-0.25 Ph 7.6 and my tap water Ph 7.4 So there we go what do you recon people.. the tanks been established for about 5 days now... thanks

well just done my 20% daily water change and pured the water disturbing the surface as much as possible.. about 95% of the white spots/bubbles have gone yey

these little white spots/ bubbles what ever they are were in the ater since i first filled it up.. there were bigger bubbles on the filter and plants tht have almost totaly dissapeared..

ell managed to get some better close up pics of my new fish... here they are... and what would be the best way to cycle my tank with him in it as iv spoken to the LFS that sold me the plant and they said they wount take him back and they wount look after him for me... so what could i do?

WELL BASICLY THE TANKS BEEN UP FOR 3 DAYS WAS GONA CYCLE WITHOUT FISH BUT MY UNEXPECTING FREEBIE MADE ME CYCLE WITH FISH... I HAVE A FILTER THAT SPITS WATER OUT ONTO THE SURFACE TO AIRIATE THE WATER AND THE ONE FISH THAT IS THERE DOESENT SEEM TO BE RUBBING OR ANYTHING..

na they dont seem like worms they seem like little minute bubbles i can only see them when i look throug the sides not when i look rom the top down. and when i look from the side towards the top of the water i can see them o the surface... any ideas what it could be?

i have noticed im gettin small white spots floating in the tank.. and there is thousands of them.. what are they and how to get rid of them..

but he is coming out from under the tree a ot more and he is spending a lot of time swinging upside down and under my filter where hes found a cool little hiding spot. he does seem to like it... and seems much happier then at first..

it looks like a match for me.. mine has darker colours but yer its the same type of fish...
