Hello mate, Nitrate is the final product of the cycle and is only removed by water changes and used to a small extent by plants - so worth keeping an eye on the ammount in your tank... As far as being overstocked - no - but how long has the tank been set up? www :)

ounds like planaria - as said harmles but would indicated overfeeding and/or a lack of tank maintenance... www :)

Depending on your other fish then salt is a possability but as allready said not tolerated by loaches (for any lenght of time). Best bet is a specific medication... Like protozin from waterlife www :)

More often than not it's going to be a problem with the water conditions... Have you got a full list of tank parameters? www :)

Never built one before but repaired a 5' The bracing/struts at the top (palstic bars to tie the back and front together snapped :o ) - and the front glass started bowing out allarmingly. Immeadiately removed about 100l to reduce pressure and went down lfs. Very helpfull and oredered me some new...

Bogwood should sink by itself because of its nature - whereas driftwood is a different matter and will probably need to be weighted down... www :)

some fish can make amazing recoveries - if he is calm and doesn't seem stressed or in pain then give him a chance to recover.... www :)

Sorry to hear that - is ther any sign of physical damage? Have you checked the water parameters recently/since? The only thing I'd suggest if water is ok is to keep lighting off to help keep the fish calm and give it a bit of time.... www :)
