Ok i just tried to help.

It could have been the tank was not on the house joinst correcly. My dads 3 foot marine cracked as it was not on the joists correctly. Ruined the floor badly. Put the loach in a bucket with the goldfish and a filter. It would be like in the tank for them. Just a bit smaller.

Try juwel aquarium backing £8 a sheet. You will need 2 of them like me. But you will have to cut one in half. It looks real and plecs sook the algea from the grooves.

Well. They have two pipes. 1 for sucking in the water. and the second for pumping it back into the tank. You have the one that sucks the water at the middle of your tank and the second one has a spray bar on it. So the water filtered is spread out. I hope this is the answer you were looking...

Carbon is to remove impurites from the tank. Eg meds. You dont realy need it it is just for removing things you put into the tank in the first place.

guppys dont realy fight if they are bieng bitten do they. I think it is best to have a guppy tank with nothing more in it apart from a plec and corys maybe.

I would mover her to a quaranteen ank and add melafix. It is ulcers and i dont know much about them but it is best to keep her away from other fish. Test your water to see if your water perimiters are ok. Hope this helps. James

Its gills also are puffing out a bit. I did a water change yesterday it was a 50% one as well if i change any more it will be fresh water in the tank. But still shall i take out a few more jugs. It is180l and i put 4and 1/2 caps of melafix in. If it is the melafix i will have to put in a carbon...

If it submersible it should ALL be underwater.

white spot treatment. green water treatment. If live plants plant food. snail control. stress zyme. chlorine remover (for water changes) Of cause it is good to have these in but they go out of date so get when you need them. :)

First put the lid on the filter (obvius) Second you have to put a filter floss on top of the other sponges (poly pads) Third to clean them take the power head out and clean the sponges. James
