Moving tanks and power cuts

Im going to uni(yay!) next september and it will be quite a journey(2-3 hours) so, how do i get my tank there in one piece? And how do i make sure my fish have as stress free journey as possible! And what do i do in the instance of a powercut? How do i avoid 1. The tank cooling down?

To move fish on long trips.
Cut up your filter pad and add 1 little square to each bad. Along with some melafix to help it stress less.

Second question.

Dont worry. Unless it is a day powercut then the fish will be quite ok. But if worried buil some water in a pan and cool it down untill the right temp for the tank. Add as neccasary.
