The only thing is I have had my guppy tail fin nipped BEFORE I got the gourami and angels (both new purchases) - all that was in the tank then were the mollies and platies.

I agree, I have Mollies, Red Wagtail Platies and Guppies all living peacefully together - swordtails are another option as are Endlers

You are brilliant! I would like as much variety as my 24g tank can take but obviously want all my fish to be happy little swimmers so will totally go by your recommendation as i trust you guys more than any LFS kid!

I know its bad really! I seem to be more clued up and i have been only doing this a week! I cannot believe they gave me 3 males and a female - what doughnuts! Anyway as I am a new set up I will leave it just with the 3 boys, try and reduce the water and go for platies and cories in 3 weeks times.
