Pregnant guppy + cotton wool fungus???

My female guppy has got tufty white stuff (not much of it) on her fins and seem whiter on top than normal - its not like some of the pictures I have looked at but this could be because its early stages?

Also her gravid spot is alot bigger and darker than the other female guppy I have
Please note only had them for a week.

Do you think she is pregnant and has a fungus?

So far I have added a bit of salt (although water already is salted) and some fungus treatment.

Just as an aside, she is spending most of her time in the current of the water - not sure if this is relevant??

Your wisdom and expertise greatly appreciated as I am going on holiday next week and not sure what to do being a newbie.

Sounds like fin fungus, is it just on the fins, can you post water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph, what size tank in gallons, and how many fish, and which type.

the tail fin looks like its being eaten away - its all jagged

Sounds like fin rot.

Your tank is saying not cycled, i would do an immediate water change as you have a high nitrite reading, i would issolate the sick fish and start the fish on anti internal bacteria med, keep an eye on water quality, good luck.

Good news, seems I am paranoid as took guppy to lfs and they said there is nothing wrong with her apart from being preggers. She is still eating, swimming about and acting normal so hopefully she wont give birth whilst I am on holiday but not sure to tell how far gone she is anyway at least she is not ill
