I have never seen him at the top, not even my mums fish, but he doesnt look to distressed or breathing funny.   I have moved the filter to the middle so the current breaks...

Is My Current To High In My Tank

I have a 92ltr tank with a filter that has a x10 turnover in the tank. I have a bronze cory (Albino) in the tank, but i worry the current may be to high for him, he is always at the front of the tank, and he takes a while to swim to the right hand side of the tank, when he gets there he gets...

    Would This Possibly Work?

If i am correct, the convicts will nip the fins of the angels. I had a convict in with my male betta and i came home one day to find his fins missing, i know it wasnt the other fish because it didnt happen until i put the convict in.   My betta is now on the mend and his fins are growing back...

    Your Favourite Fish To Watch?

I would have to say two of my guppies (yellow and pink)   They like to swim to the bottom of the air stone the let the bubbles push them to the top the swim back down and do it again. They do this for minutes at a time and its really funny cause it looks like they are racing to see who can get...

    Breeding Bristlenose Pleco

Hey guys,   Have to put a small hold on this topic from alittle bit as i am moving my fish to a bigger tank I will kepp you posted though as i plan to use my older tank as a breeding tank

Well That Was An Eventful Night!

If you want, you could get a tank big enough to keep them in for now, and build your own acrylic tank. There is tons of vids on youtube explaining how to do it, and you can get acrylic from lots of places, sometimes even your local hardware store.   but that all depends on how much time you have
  16. TigerOscar11

Well That Was An Eventful Night!

Good to hear they all survived, and good that you were able to get everything in order quickly. If your having an aquarium built, have you thought about maybe 1/4 - 1/2 inch acrylic? it wont crack as easily as glass (Obviously depending on the thickness, but acrylic will flex before it cracks)

Will These Plecs Stay Small ?

Ah, in my last comment i think i meant to say 145cm   I imagine they would take ages to grow   In light to your question about the L25 being able to turn, it will bend its body as it turns, so it will most likely lose 1/3 of it body length during the turn They dont turn staying dead straight :P

    Thanks Guys, Big help :)
  24. TigerOscar11

Will These Plecs Stay Small ?

L25 will get to about 45cm should be OK for the tank, providing you don't have to many other big fish, but for a 6 footer, shouldnt be too bad L288 will gt to about 4 inches L163 will get to about 4-5 inches L015 Will gt to about 4 inches L-46 will get to about 3.5 inches   All fairly small but...

    Breeding Bristlenose Pleco

thats a good point haha   Yeah, they should be fine, some people say have a 2/1 ratio for the fact of the male may not want the female you have given.   I am moving my fish to a bit bigger of a tank, they were in a 60ltr but now they will be in a 92ltr tank. So they will have abit more room to...

    Pitbull Plecs

what size are you talking about? The Bristlenose Pleco is one of the best algae eaters and will keep a tank nice a clean, and only get to about 5 inches (12.5cm) long and are great with other fish, you only need one, or two if you want it to have some company

    Breeding Bristlenose Pleco

Well again, I didn't intend to raise them and let nature take its course. It was their first batch and they were extremely protective over them. Being Cichlids I've read they don't need to be separated as they're quite good parents once they get the hang of things. These things can just...
