Looks like it wont be too long b4 urs on ur way.. You building it up with breeze blocks? and what other fish you got plans for in the smaller tanks??? Very lucky to get a project like this, i will keep an eye out for future pics ov ur progress.. Good luck ! :good:

I m not commenting on the gravel as my 4ft b4 i changed it to sand hd a very bright bue gravel in it :crazy: Nice pic on the whole thou........ :)

Been to same kinda LFS too Helen.....they used to have a shop a few streets from us and moved...it was awful...really manky tanks etc, dead fish floating. Just by chance jay poped in to have a look at a new Lfs he was driving past and it was same owners.....they had a TSN and an Oxydoras Niger...

Two days ago.........came down and TSN is belly up....spent all day trying to sort him out doing everything I was advised to do. Then got advice from a catfish expert at Lfs and he told us it could be a bit ov air in his swim bladder and the fish is trying to put itself right. So I put him back...

FAB!..i never see our niger unless i am down threw the night , i like a fish that can be seen alot , Tiger shovelnose keeps me very entertained when i am sat watching him. Mary :P

Hi theres hiden tubes and plenty ov hiding spots in the 3 pieces ov bog wood in there....all 3 rainbow snakeheads and plecs can easiy find somewhere if hey wish but they mostly stay out plants are out ov the question they all end up uprooted and floating on the surface every morning. when the 2...

lol I'm not spoilt space and if i was still at my parents house they wouldnt let me have big tanks either....once u grow up to be a big boy and get ur own place u ll have whatever u want then. I do hope i am still about then to see what you would buy etc cos for a young person your plans and...

I rehomed all my comunity fish and took out all the deco cos i grew to dislike the awful blue gravel with a passion. I then removed gravel and add sand and bogwood. The are 2 saifin plecs, 2 common plecs, 1 black ghost knifefish, 1 siamese tiger fish and 3 rainbow snakeheads in the tank. Before...

Thanks he is fully grown now at 18" :) Hi everyone just thought i d add a little more background on the obscura that i know....He used to be a show fish, the guy from Wharf who we have boght him off is a trully impresive fishkeeper and has many more tanks than i could ever dream of having...
