Hi ty.....he is in a 6ft x 2ft x 2ft.......tankmates are....Tiger shovel nose, Petenia Splendida and an Oxydoras niger

Hi everyone just thought i d add a little more background on the obscura that i know....He used to be a show fish, the guy from Wharf who we have boght him off is a trully impresive fishkeeper and has many more tanks than i could ever dream of having. Well he shows lots ov fish and he showed this snakehead till recently and had to stop due to the fact that it was becomin a struggle transporting and carrying the amount ov water etc that the snakehead required. So he decided it was time to find him a home and we are it lol. The snakehead has won 1st place twice that i know and also a 2nd in the last year ( i think) i am asking him to dig out pics etc so i can post them along with this thread. So i'd like to say many thanks to Ivan if he ever comes onto TTF forums and thanks for giving us the change to be the new owners ov this trully stunning snakehead....Mary

It does look even more amazing in the 2nd lot of pics. I can't believe the size of it compared to the TSN as well.
