just white and worm shaped! Not sure bout any more detail. I said that to the guy in the shop though but dunno! (ive never fed them live food incase that makes a diff)

I just treated my tank with anticrustacean parasite stuff and all my fish look really sad, the guppy and dwarf gourami are sitting right at the top of the tank and all of the fish are a lot more docile than normal. Any advice - I know O2 can be low after treating is there any way of improving...

Just about to go to bed and my fish tank (Jewel 70L) has just started making LOADS of noise, the pump bit which pushes the water out is really noisy and its making the whole tank vibrate. Any ideas what to do, not happy about leaving it on, as it sounds really dodgy but obv dont want to leave...

It was me who emailed the jewel people, they weren't helpful at all. When it happened to me it was a neon tetra, theres a circular opening were the pump head thing comes out - the openings to big and small fish can fit through. My housemate made me a cover out of plastic which fills the gaps...

It doesn't sound like that to be honest, not sure what though.

It just did a good swim across the tank very disorientated kinda span round and then bumped into the floor, nothing enlarged or inflammed. My bf reckons its sucker bit by its mouth is smaller than it used to be. Never really seen the fish pooing - only the gourami's. I feel like im lettin it...

Ammonia = 0 Nitrite = 0 Nitrate = 10ppm it also appears to be smaller? (I know that sounds odd) than it used to be? Could it be food related? Am I not giving it suitable food. I currently use fish flakes and catfish pellets which the person in the shop said they were ok? x :-(

This happened to me and one of my neon tetra's died shortly after. I emailed the Jewel people to see what they suggest and there was responce was just...yeah its happens..sorry. Seems a silly design for a fish tank. :blink:

I went away for the past two weekends, giving my fish food sticks and with a timer light so it come on and goes off automatically. Both times a few fish have died. I dont know why there dying - anyone got any ideas what I can do? :crazy:

Hi, I want to get an automatic feeder for my tank. It's 70L Juwel so something which will work with that. I'm not sure what is the best type and where to get them from (internet sites are fine). Thanks :wub:

yeah definetly a wasp, it had been in my room the night before but I couldnt find it to get rid of it before I went to bed. I have a Jewel tank and they have a little gap at the back of the lid which is I guess is where the wasp got in! What's Amazon Frogbit like - is it good for the tank? B) XX
