whats the hardiest tetra. i would apppreciate a table listing in order of harddyness of tetras.

i was told that these do shoal. the males look great but do chase the females, but not constantly and never do any harm. i feel the more fish the better.

both are horrible fish and will harass any larger fish in the tank, dont bother.

iam more interested in those which dont need plant cover, because i will have java moss to remove nitrates. i dont plan to have any caves as such, so i need a fish that doesent hide and doesent need plant cover.

i want to do a new aquascape with just bogwood and rocks. which fish dont need or like plant cover, because i want the fish to be happy.

what about a betta with a red tailed shark, also do people feel that bettas like plant cover. i tend to find they dont care about plants , as long as they have a cave to hide in.

whats the best way to transport fish. i dont have any of those strong , thin, see-through bags they have in pet shops. could i use a tesco bag? i have sandwich bags, but there two small. i have some plastic boxes, but with the lids on will there be enough oxygen?

it gets cleaned, and i think its been put back ok, it seems to be working.

i dont know, i think it might be too small for the tank. but why would this problem suddenly start after being fine for nearly 2 years.

i have had my tank set up for over a year and then suddenly overnight on the top of the water there are loads of little green bits. the water looks totally clear but on the surface there are lots of green bits - whats happened.

what would cause water to run down the outside of an internal filters wire. how could it happen

?? iam not sure what you mean. ive not had this problem, but its just my understanding of why u need a drip loop. i could be wrong.

As far as I understand that makes no sense. Doesn’t the water run through the wire to the socket, which can result in problems. The water doesn’t run on the exterior of the wire.

any1 have any thoughts on this topic

oh good, so it can go underwater. because this way there is no noise from the bubbles, as its in my bedroom. it is impossible for me to have a drip loop due to the location of my plugs i think.

can my internal filter be submerged so far that some of the wire is underwater. or is that dangerous.
