Red tailed sharks do not get that big, 5 inches or so, you must be thinking of red tailed catfish. Also I dont want anything other then cich's in this tank, which i specified in the original post. But anyways, I have decided to go with african cich's anyways, I want more then 2 types of fish...

well thats not really an option for me because they dont normally carry that many at once, and also i dont have the money to be buying 6 fish to only end up knowingly with only 2 in the end anyways I have decided to go a different route with different species though, so i can have more then one...

How many neon tetras can be safely homed in a 15 gallon tank? With plants of course too. Also I have a filter that is made for a 30 gallon..if that has a role in how many can go in I guess I will just put what I want in there and wing it, since no one will give me an idea!

I have one german blue ram in with tiger and green tiger barbs, a red tail shark, a pleco, congo tetras, gouramis, yoyo's, and a kribensis cichlid with no problems. He is still young, so that could change, but that is my experience with my ram so far. I also plan on getting a mate for both him...

I could try that, but as far as i know the fish store doesn't always get what THEY order in for their own stock. I will have to go and ask them. If they cant, then I will wait on getting the cichlids

Because I have a horrible choice here in town. And as I said above, the only one's I have available in town are the one's i've already named off. There are more, but they wouldn't be good for my tank anyways because they get too massive.

I also have a blue ram, seems very peaceful but he is in with barbs and other semi aggressive fish, not tetras. but of what i can see of them they should be ok in there too. Just keep an eye on them at first introduction
