    they look calciumy to me.... which is fine for hard water fish but... if you live on a farm, and use sprays/ fertilisers, I definately wouldn't use them. residues on them will kill your fish.

    with kribs and bolivian rams? death sentance for the shrimps. once their shells are broken, everything else will have a nibble too. also, new plants will mean copper in the water which is also a death sentance for shrimps. pretty much, nothing could be more dangerous for shrimps than your tank!

    not wishing to sound sad, but i think you're thinking of a different crab. these are Limnopilos naiyanetri. they're tiny and unable to attack things like corys. as well as this, they're filter feeders. they're not like red claws or anything......
