    Utricularia Graminifolia

I think I'm gonna try this in my new tank instead of a riccia carpet. It seems easy to take care of and makes a great carpet.

    Eheim 2028

I think I've got the red arm but I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about any pics? I'm getting a new seal for free so yeah no need to wash it.

    Eheim 2028

See I don't think it does because I checked it and it looks fine. I'm actually not even sure if its leaking from there now. There was water in the handle part of it. The part where they come together. (the top/cover and the canister part) is below the handle. IDK I think I'll just hook it back...

    Eheim 2028

I'll try that but, before he gave it to me he told me he thought it leaked a little but he wasn't sure. Maybe I could trim around where the seal is with foam?

    Eheim 2028

I got this filter for free from a friend but, I noticed that it leaks a tiny little bit in one corner where the lid and the canister part come together. Any ideas how to stop this? Or should I get a new filter or not worry about it? :X :/

Whats Left ( Bad Stocking )

You could leave him in and see how it goes, if he gets too aggressive take him out. :D

    Cuttings

You will have to host it on photobucketor a similar site and copy and paste the IMG Tag. Did you do that?

    Diy Spraybar

You could try and find tubing to go on it and deflect it down. Or connect the tubing to a hard tube with hole and put suction cups on the tube so its like a spraybar. I'm not sure, its a weird shape. :fun:

    Just A Few Bits

I had one and it seemed very hardy, Didn't need very much light, and will eventually sprout with lily pad like things going to the surface.

Whats Left ( Bad Stocking )

Your new Long Pelvics and your yellow labs aren't very aggressive. So, that being said you need to pick if you want a aggressive or a more more peaceful tank. Those are in terms of African Cichlids. :)

    Diy Or Nutrafin

OK Thx I didn't know if 1 would work because Jimboo has 2 on his 12 and I think he has 3.5 WPG . I will have almost 3 WPG so I might need more. I guess I could always add another one later on. What about Ferts, what are some ones I should add? What plants should I add first? I was thinking...

    Diy Or Nutrafin

I will be setting up a 20 gallon long and I was wondering what would be bwetter to use for Co2 a Nutrafin kit or 2 or DIY Co2 with a bottle and such. I used to use DIY in my old planted tank but didn't have great success and I noticed that Nutrafin kits are very popular on here. SO? :)

    L. Ocellatus

You could mix it up a bit as far as food is concerned. They're not very particular about curretn but if u put them in and they don't seem to like it u can just kill it then. I know u didn't ask, but I'll just tell u that u can tell sexes by the differencr in size. Males are much larger. I'd...

    Filter Question

I'm setting up a 20 Gallon Long Planted tank. I got a Eheim 2028 for free from a friend and was wondering if you guys thought it would be to powerful for my tank. Its a $200+ filter so I'd really like to use it instead of having it just sit there...

    Shell Dwellers

Most pH things add phosphates add then u will get a bunch of Algae. :/ Otherwise just do the best you can Cichlids can adapt to most anything and although you might not be able to get to ideal levels just getting it close should be fine. :good:

    Shell Dwellers

    Masked Julie

I geuss a ten gallon might be ok, but a better setup would be a small shelldweller setup. Like several Multies. :D

    Just Started A Cichlid Tank

What Do These Sound Like To You?

Unless you are very serious about keeping cichlids I would take them back. Kenyi will get very aggressive and need at the very least a 55+ gallon tank. :)

Yeah only one pair. They get pretty aggressive. Shelldwellers are best kept in a species tank or with a few bottom dwellers. You could have more than a pair of these thoguh.

    Malawi's In A 55 Gallon.

Another good way to go about is look ing at what Cichlids you can get your hands on and then seeing how they will mix with each other and such :)

    Melanochromis Auratus (albino)

I don't understand how in this post you're syaing you have successfully breed Auratus in thius topic and that you're have problems with your Auratus in atother??? Also Why are you asking about getting Auratus when the next day you say you already have some breeding??? Please explain :/

    Breeding Problem

Also if the tank is only a 20 gallon that isn't big enough for Auratus cause they are Pretty Aggressive. :/
