They actually go to 12-14 inch in diameter i think. They need at least 125 gallons.

Well what ever. i said they wont grow huge in small tank, and by small i meant like 40 gallons. i have 2 in my 48 and they just stay at 6 and 7inch for me. mine dont bury at all cause i have gravel and they cant take down plants since they dont bury. They never even tried burrowing...

DOJO LAOCHES ARENT BIG!!!!! I have 2 in my 48 gallon which is only 2 and half feet in length and 1 foot in width. they wont grow huge in a small tank. Mine only stay at 6-7 inches max. 1 dojo loach only needs 10(or maybe 20) gallons.

I HAVE ONE!!!!!!!!!! He is in my 48 gallon. i absolutely love them!!! They are EXTREMELY hardy fish despite what websites say! I dont even have any plants in my tank and my farlowella is very happy!

Today im going to see the rams at my lfs. They just got them 2 days ago. I just want to see them now because i have never seen one in reality. next week if nothing happens to the rams ill buy one or maybe a pair.

I was looking at my ghost shrimp and i have noticed instead of it being transparent it is now a cloudy white color. Why is that?

Also, will rams attacks shrimps or snails?

Today when i came back from my summer job the preg escaped! Apparently i left the fish light on from feeding in morning while i was gone. With the light on, the preg fish noticed she was in the box and i guess she went crazy and jumped out of the breeder box and made it into the main tank!!! I...

I have a golden killi so it stays at top. My betta goes everywhere. i dont want them to breed, but i want to get a pair to keep them happy. when they say pair, they mean male and female?

Also, will they do well with platies, bettas, and killifish?

Since it says i should ge ta pair does it matter the species? As in, can i get 1 gold and 1 blue ram?

Apparently i see that some people have kribs in there tropical community tanks. Arent kribs cichlids? Or are you allowed to put them with community fish?

If its sand then its perfect for eels! get a fire eel and if he isnt out and about, then his head and a section of his body will poke out of the sand since they love to bury there bodies sometimes!!! very friendly oddballs! Silver dollars arent oddballs but you can keep a group with your oscar...

hmmm... EELS!!!! eels are great and so friendly they can be hand fed! Peacock eels max out at 1 foot but i think you should get a fire eel!!! i personally think they look nicer and with that tank you defo have enough room for one (they max at about 3 feet)!! what is your substrate??

I dont have any pics but... my lfs had a lot of them at one point and they were around 4 - 4 and a half inches. They looked amazing at my lfs, nothing compared to the images on google.

all i have right now is melafix, so i need to know if that wil lhelp.

Will melafix reduce stress? If it does will it reduce stress for my pregnant platy in her breeder box?
