Okay, so currently I have 2 albino ACFs in a 10gallon tank, each are about 1-1.5", Lots of caves for them to hide in and they seem nice and happy... but I just don't feel right having such a small tank for them, I'm trying to avoid buying another tank so I was wondering if they'd be good in my 55 gallon tank? I have Angelfish in the tank, Severums, A senegal Bichir, a RTBS, 1 clown loach (of to the LFS tomorrow), my Jellybean parrot, and my plecos (BN, Clown and Gibby)... I'm concerned because I don't know if the frogs with try to eat anybody, or if anybody will try t eat the frogs... I've seen it done before and I've heard that it can be done... but I really don't want to risk it, would it be better just to leave it alone and not do it?

Dont put him in your 55 gallon. They will probably die of starvation with ANY competition of food.

you do know that 1.5 inchers are really small right? their mouths are like 1 cm wide.

Hi PRW1988 :)

It's best to get them into at least a 20 gallon tank as soon as you can. Given good food and the right environment, these frogs will get to be a good size and live 15 to 20 years. They can be real pets.

I have some of them that were given to me by a person who raised them in crowded conditions and they are deformed and stunted. It's a sad thing to see.

I wouldn't recommend putting them in your other tank either. They are slower to eat than the fish and will not get enough food.

Could you not just feed them by hand like drop food ect very close to them or outside there cave for example ?
