In fact, it's body shape isn't as long as a molly, it's tail is short so I think it's a platy. As for the colour, it could be named anything. 

Did I get it right?   Paradise is it a calico molly - poecilia

I agree with paradise. I added 2 female rams to my tank, the male immediately went to one of them and had all fins extended and was swimming close to her, and bodies were touching. She then went pink in the belly area, they swim everywhere together. 

What else do you have in the tank? My ramshorn snails laid eggs like that, it kind of looked like a splodge but when you looked closer they were eggs.
